Meet Andrea
A native of Mesagne, in Puglia, Italy, whose culinary journey unfolded alongside his mom and grandma. From his father's fish shop to his uncle's farm, he absorbed diverse influences. Enrolling in Hotel School at 14, he refined his skills in a local restaurant. London beckoned, leading him through fine dining and prestigious venues. In 2019, he assumed the role of Head Chef at Rosmarino.
Fast forward to 2022, Andrea and his girlfriend launched MATERIA LAB, a heaven of modern Italian cuisine. Their dark kitchen, launched in September 2022, brings fresh and contemporary Italian delights to
Londoners' tables.

Meet Enza
Originally from Polignano a Mare, in Puglia, Italy, pursued studies in Tourism and Commercial Services. Working as a waitress from age 14,
she dreamt of learning languages. Moving from Ponte Tresa to Luxembourg, Enza honed her skills as a waitress and bartender, delving into diverse cultures and cuisines. In Luxembourg she developed a keen interest in organizing private events. In 2015, she moved to London, where her career in hospitality flourished, eventually becoming a Restaurant Manager.
Enza and Andrea crossed paths in London in 2017 and, in 2022, brought their dream to life with MATERIA LAB.
